Participatory Development Realized Through TMMD 126 in South Malang


Malang – Efforts to advance rural areas have once again been intensified through TMMD 126 in Lebakharjo. Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu, in collaboration with the government, launched a program to facilitate development and optimize rural area growth in Lebakharjo Village, Ampelgading Subdistrict, Malang Regency, East Java, on Saturday (October 11, 2025).


The initiative received a warm welcome from the community and various stakeholders, including the Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu leadership, as Lebakharjo Village became the central focus of this TMMD 126 program.


Commander of the Ampelgading Military Subdistrict (Danramil), Captain Arh Akhmad Zainuri, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this activity. He emphasized that the program is a tangible form of support for empowering rural communities.


"Let us welcome this initiative with joy and take the opportunity to learn together to develop Lebakharjo Village," said Captain Arh Akhmad Zainuri.


This program is expected to strengthen village potential, create new economic opportunities, and improve community welfare through development based on citizen participation.


The residents of Lebakharjo Village also responded positively to the program. Sugi, one of the villagers, expressed hope that this initiative would bring positive change to local lives.


“We’re happy and proud. Hopefully, through this program and the presence of TMMD, our village will progress, and our children will enjoy the benefits,” said Sugi.


The rural development facilitation program, a collaboration between the Regional Government and Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu, is expected to serve as a concrete step toward strengthening village independence and enhancing community welfare through joint collaboration. (*)
