TNI Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Social Service Activity in Malang
Malang - A warm and spirited atmosphere filled the Brawijaya Rampal Field in Malang on Sunday, October 5, 2025. As part of the 80th-anniversary celebrations of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya organized a social service activity, demonstrating the military's genuine concern for the people.
Assistance in the form of food packages was directly handed over by the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf Kohir, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of Korem (Kasrem) 083/Bdj, to the local community and underprivileged residents in the Malang area. The handover took place after the TNI anniversary ceremony and a UMKM bazaar, which added to the festive atmosphere of togetherness at Rampal.
With warm hospitality, Danrem 083/Bdj Colonel Inf Kohir greeted the locals and participants. "This is a form of our gratitude and concern. As the TNI turns 80, we want to share our joy with the people — because the TNI will never be great without the people's support," said Danrem.
The Kasrem 083/Bdj, who accompanied Danrem, added that this activity was an important moment to strengthen the emotional bond between the TNI and the community. "This social service is simple, but its meaning is profound. We want to continue spreading the spirit of togetherness and mutual assistance," he stated.
This social service activity concluded the series of events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the TNI in the Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya area, which carried the theme "TNI PRIMA, TNI Rakyat, Indonesia Maju" (TNI PRIMA, TNI of the People, Indonesia Advances). This activity was not just a symbol of concern, but a tangible form of the TNI's devotion to the people in every step of their struggle. (*)
