Danrem 083/Baladhika Jaya: Promotion Should Be Motivation to Do Better
Malang, (10/2/2025) – A total of 22 personnel from Makorem 083/Baladhika Jaya received a one-level promotion. The promotion ceremony was led directly by the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf Kohir, at the Makorem 083/Bdj courtyard on Jl. Bromo No. 17, Malang City. Also present was the Chairperson of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Koorcab Rem 083 PD V/Brawijaya, Mrs. Nilam Kohir, along with Persit administrators.
The presence of the Persit Chairperson served as moral support for the promoted personnel and boosted the morale of the Korem 083/Bdj family. In his address, the Danrem congratulated the personnel and emphasized that the promotion should be seen as a gift and a trust that comes with greater responsibility.
“The new rank you wear should motivate you to enhance your professionalism, discipline, loyalty, and dedication in serving. Promotion is the result of hard work, rigorous selection, and family prayers.
Therefore, be grateful and use it as motivation to continue doing your best,” said the Danrem. Meanwhile, Mrs. Nilam Kohir expressed her pride in the personnel's achievements and emphasized the importance of family support, particularly the role of wives, in accompanying their husbands in their duties.
“Behind the success of a soldier, there are prayers, sacrifices, and family support. I hope this promotion moment will further strengthen harmonious relationships within the Korem 083/Bdj family,” she said.
The ceremony concluded with congratulations from the Danrem and the Persit Chairperson to all promoted personnel, accompanied by prayers for their continued health, success, and achievement in their service. (*)
