.
“TMMD is not just a physical program, but also a platform to strengthen the values of mutual cooperation, nationalism, and unity between TNI and the people. This is the spirit that becomes the essence of our dedication,” said Danrem Kohir.

Danrem added that the 126th TMMD program in Lebakharjo Village focuses on rural infrastructure development that directly benefits the community, such as concrete road construction, asphalt paving, drainage, irrigation, and clean water pipelining, accompanied by non-physical activities such as counseling, training, and socialization by various agencies.

“We want TMMD to be a means of building strong, independent, and patriotic Indonesians, not just building physical facilities,” he said. Meanwhile, Malang Regent Drs. H. M. Sanusi, M.M., in his address as the ceremony inspector, expressed appreciation to the TNI personnel who have actively helped the local government in equalizing development.

“The TMMD program is very helpful to the local government in achieving development acceleration, especially in hard-to-reach areas. We highly appreciate the dedication of TNI, which always serves the people,” said Regent Sanusi.

As the Task Force Commander of the 126th TMMD, Letkol Czi Bayu Nugroho emphasized the readiness of all personnel to carry out the program with full responsibility and dedication. “We will work hand in hand with the community to complete all physical and non-physical targets within the specified timeframe. With a spirit of togetherness, God willing, the results will be optimal,” said Dandim 0818.

After the ceremony, Danrem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Malang Regent, and Dandim 0818 directly inspected the physical target locations of TMMD and engaged in dialogue with the villagers. This activity symbolizes the real unity between TNI and the people in building the nation from the villages.

The 126th TMMD program will run until November 5, 2025, involving around 300 personnel from TNI, Polri, Malang Regency Government, and local communities. With the theme “From the Village for the Nation”, the 126th TMMD is expected to be a crucial moment to strengthen regional resilience and improve the welfare of rural communities. (*)
