TMMD Kodim 0818 Spiritual Officer Collaborates with Mosque Leaders to Promote Religious Development in Village
Malang – In support of the smooth implementation of the 126th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program by Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu, Second Lieutenant (Letda) Infantry Jaenuri, serving as the Spiritual Affairs Officer (Pabintal) and a member of the TMMD task force, held a coordination meeting with the Takmir (management) of Al-Amien Mosque in Lebakharjo Village, Ampelgading Subdistrict, Malang Regency, on Saturday (October 11, 2025).
The meeting aimed to establish synergy in the field of mental and religious development during the TMMD activities. During the discussion, Letda Inf Jaenuri emphasized the importance of religious activities as a form of spiritual guidance for both task force members and the local community.
"Religious activities are not only a form of worship but also a means to strengthen the relationship between the TNI and the community. With a religious atmosphere, it is hoped that the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation will grow stronger," said Letda Inf Jaenuri.
In addition to discussing regular religious practices such as Friday prayers, congregational prayers, Quranic study groups, and religious sermons, the coordination also covered plans for community-based religious activities, such as joint efforts to clean the mosque and the provision of cleaning supplies. The Takmir of Al-Amien Mosque welcomed the initiative and expressed readiness to collaborate with the TMMD task force.
This initiative is part of the TMMD Task Force 126 Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu’s broader mission — not only focusing on physical infrastructure development but also on strengthening the mental and spiritual well-being of village residents. Through this coordination, the TMMD environment is expected to become more harmonious and bring real benefits to the people of Lebakharjo Village.
"TMMD is not just about building roads and drainage systems; it's also about building the spirit of unity and faith within the community," Letda Inf Jaenuri concluded. (*)
