To Ensure Smooth Harvest Transport, TMMD Task Force Repairs Farm Road in Malang

Malang
 – The farm road in Sukomaju Hamlet, Lebakharjo Village, Ampelgading District, Malang Regency, which is one of the physical targets of the 126th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program by Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu, is currently in poor condition. Previously, the road was only made of soil and rough stones, which made it muddy and difficult for two- and four-wheeled vehicles to pass during the rainy season. (Saturday, October 11, 2025)

For local residents, this farm road is the main access to agricultural and plantation areas. Every day, farmers use this route to transport their harvests, such as vegetables, rice, and other crops. However, due to the damaged and slippery road conditions, vehicles often struggle or even get stuck in the mud.

Seeing this condition, the 126th TMMD Task Force of Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu plans to repair the road by concreting several hundred meters. This program is expected to improve accessibility and facilitate the mobility of residents, especially in agricultural economic activities.

Commander of Kodim 0818/Malang-Batu, Lt. Col. Czi Bayu Nugroho, stated that the construction of this farm road is a tangible form of synergy between the military and the community in promoting rural development.

“Through TMMD, we are not only building infrastructure but also strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and unity,” he said.

With the concreting work now underway, the residents of Sukomaju Hamlet have welcomed the initiative enthusiastically and are ready to participate in the construction process. They hope that once the repairs are completed, their agricultural products can be transported more easily and quickly, helping to improve the local economy. (*)
